Westone Audio’s custom-fit technology involves creating earpieces that are cast, sculpted, and polished by hand from impressions of the user’s ears, resulting in the best possible fit and acoustic seal. The EAS10 also features replaceable filter technology, allowing users to choose their level of attenuation with 10dB, 16dB, 20dB, or 25dB filters, as well as an included 27dB solid plug. The proprietary balanced-armature drivers provide enhanced detail and frequency range. The EAS10 earpieces are designed with comfort and sound quality in mind. They feature Flex Canal, a material that conforms to the user’s body temperature for improved comfort and acoustic seal. The earpieces are also made from cold-poured acrylic, which is durable and gives a luxurious appearance. The Deep Open Bore design allows for a more seamless transition between the monitor mix and ambient sound, and the earpieces are designed with precise acoustic symmetry to match left and right earpiece responses to within +/-2 dB tolerance. The earpieces also come with a replaceable MMCX Audio™ durable cable, light-weight and has low resistance and minimal cable noise. All Westone Audio products are assembled by a team of dedicated artisans and lab technicians.
