PACS Pro 27 - Designed for high-noise industrial environments and motor-sports

At ASWEFA, four of us (three instructors and myself) use the PACS Pro 27, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in our training on machines at work. We operate in high-noise industrial environments and across a wide range of sites delivering machinery training and licensing. The PACS Pro 27 allows us to maintain clear communication while still getting all the protection you’d expect from traditional hearing protection like earmuffs or generic earplugs, without the downsides. They look professional, are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods, and don’t get in the way when working around machinery. Unlike standard earplugs, they don’t fall out easily and don’t become uncomfortable over a full day on site.

Previously, relying on the disposable earplugs provided to visitors on site was frustrating and inconsistent. The PACS Pro 27 earbuds from Pacific Ears are a far better solution, reliable, comfortable, and purpose-built for real working environments. For anyone working in training, industry, or high-noise settings who needs protection without sacrificing communication or professionalism, we’d highly recommend them.

Not only do these do exactly as described, the custom fit means none of that pain and fatigue common with standard foam plugs. It’s so cool to have my ears protected from noise while also being able to have a conversation as required, a must have for folks in noisey professions.

These earplugs so comfortable I forget they’re in. Quality product, fast and thorough communication and friendly service.

Highly recommended.

Look after your ears, we only get one pair.

These earplugs have been a game changer since I got them. They cut down the road noise heaps on my bike, and although I was a little worried about the increased attenuation on high frequencies impacting the music from my cardo, it has sounded great, and the decreased wind noise lets me listen to it at a much quieter level.

Another bonus is that I can wear them in the office when I don’t want to hear all of the noise around me without seeming rude – has been really good to keep my focus this way. In terms of comfort level, they fit perfectly, and after getting used to the angle to insert them, I don’t need any of the included gel to get them in and out.

One note I would point out is that these filters aren’t interchangeable with most of the other filters (as in the description), so be sure that you are comfortable with this attenuation profile before buying, especially if you want a multi use set of plugs for bikes and concerts etc, as you might not be able to swap filters.

Great purchase, and the the team (I dealt with Fleur over email) were really helpful and very quick to respond to my questions. From the purchase on the site, I had the plugs within a week (including time for an audiologist appt) which was a big surprise – I will definitely be buying another set in time. Cheers!

These Pro 27s are exactly what I needed. Easy to use and perfect fit for my ears :).

I have tested them under all the conditions I intended on using them for and they are definitely fit for purpose – from working in the construction industry, motorcycling, shooting and down to mowing the lawns – they suit all my needs.

The string with the clip is super handy to ensure I don’t lose one and/or both and can easily remove them and hang them around my neck.

Would highly recommend this product.

Also shout out to Fleur for the amazing customer service, from beginning to end, great communication – keep it up!

Earplugs work very well and are nice and comfortable. Great customer service.

Just wanted to let you know, the plugs I ordered have arrived and fit well on initial testing.

I want to thank you for the quick turn around! I wasn’t expecting them so soon and appreciate the service!

Until next time! Brad 🙂

I can now proudly say I own two pairs of these custom ear plugs, the Pro17 and Pro27. I bought the Pro17s, and they have absolutely changed my life, making both DJing and attending concerts and festivals bearable. Unfortunately I enjoy being at the front where the volumes are exceptionally loud, and a 17 decibel reduction is not enough to spend 8 hours in a 110+dB environment, so I’ve got the Pro27s for long stints of loud exposure.

These plugs are an incredible product, they fit perfectly, and the sound quality is absolutely unaffected, I can not recommend them highly enough!

Kind Regards,

Aaron F

My earplugs turned up today. Thank you very much for your great service. Really appreciate you getting them to me so quickly. Outstanding.

They fit perfectly. Thanks again. Jeff O.

All I can say is Wow! I work on Jets all day and received mine the other day, after two days their the best investment I’ve made in a long time, Top Job!

I was interested in these earplugs as an alternative to earmuffs as I work in very hot and humid conditions. Earmuffs were uncomfortably hot and sweaty, plus wearing safety glasses under them compromised the fit to a degree. My factory environment is noisy and holding regular conversations is almost impossible without shouting.

The Pro 27 earplugs I’m now using have been a revelation on all fronts. More comfortable during my 12 hours shifts, cooler to wear, and wearing safety glasses doesn’t compromise the hearing protection. Plus hearing other peoples’ speech is much easier.

While offering Class 5 protection as did the earmuffs, by comparison the earplugs give a much more natural sound in the environment I work in. The earmuffs created a ‘dead’ sound that I didn’t appreciate until trying these.

Not only am I very happy with the product, dealing with customer service at Pacific Ears has been a pleasure. They were always very helpful with any questions I had, were great with their correspondence, and I was delighted with the speed of their service.

Great work Pacific Ears!

I had them taken a mould from my ears at a fitting point. The technician took her time to make the best impression she could make of my ears. The result is really good, I wear them in comfort all day 8 hours. They fit well so there is no sound leakage and the filters do an amazing job of reducing the unwanted noise and still allow me to communicate in an industrial noise environment. As they filter out the harsh noise it allows me to focus on my welding and therefore reduce mental fatigue after a day of welding. I am very happy with the product. The cord is a good addition although when it rubs on your clothing you get to hear that resonating through the ear mould. The earplugs were delivered to me in a week. Tom B

These are very good with noise isolation around loud machinery and does the job right.

They are extremely comfortable and sometimes forget that they are in my ears still.

Got these specifically to combat wind noise on the motorbike – they work great, are comfy and drown out way more wind noise than I expected.

been using the pro 27 filter for work as a builder for about 6 months i love them really comfy to wear and great for motorsports aswell

I bought a pair for these for adventure motorcycle riding to cut down wind noise, these are excellent and remove most wind noise. They allow all day riding without fatigue from wind noise or discomfort you get with non custom ear plugs. So happy now ordering custom ones for sleeping.

Awesome great fitting product and fast efficient service and communication.

Wonderful product and great service. My custom silicone earplugs and far and away superior else that I have used – convenient, comfortable and effective. Good for any time I need to study, relax or focus in comfort.
