The Engage monitors themselves are incredible

Having used the Elacin ER-25 moulded plugs happily for 10+ years, the next logical step for me when the requirements of our live production began evolving was to move into moulded IEMs — both to retain hearing protection and to be able to hear what I needed, when I needed to hear it.

The process of ordering, being fitted for and obtaining my Engage Dual Driver IEMs was made so simple by Fleur and the team — from pre-purchase communications right through to finding an appointment for mould taking when I was bouncing around the South Island for work at the time. Once the moulds were taken, the turnaround time was super fast, and the packaging contained everything you need to get started.

The Engage monitors themselves are incredible. The biggest problem I’ve found with generic earphones is once everything gets going around you, the volume required from your pack to compete with the stage volume totally defeats the purpose. This is where the Engage IEMs shine. As with the ER-25s, the flexible silicone material warms to your body temperature quickly, is extremely comfortable to wear, and flexes with your jaw movement. The ambient sound isolation blocks out the chaos on stage, allowing for much lower volume levels from the pack to your ears.

The dual balanced armature design in the Engage is slightly mid-heavy, which is perfect for someone like myself who relies on hearing vocals and guitars clearly, without the artificial low-end enhancement of other consumer products making the low end muddy and overpowering. If you are considering investing in custom moulded IEMs, I cannot recommend the Engage Dual Driver IEMs from Pacific Ears enough!

I have used Comfort Cream for some time now to make the earplugs I use for swimming easier to insert and remove. I have found it to be an excellent aid in this regard. My order from Pacific Ears was easy to make and came very quickly and generously; I appreciated this. Thanks, Gregory

I absolutely love my sleep earplugs. I would describe them as life changing! Here are my tips too….

I am a side sleeper so i only wear the ear up (as my ears are small and i feel the pillow side) but they still work amazingly (and block the breathing sound of person beside). I also wore during some of Xmas day when the festivities got too noisy and i just needed to dull the noisy a bit.

Normal earplugs just fall out or don’t fit but these are a perfect fit. Not gonna lie, still haven’t quite figured out how to put in without a mirror, but when i have a mirror and use my phone camera to show the ear position, they go in in seconds and i just grab the very side to pull out (they feel tight which is good as you kinda get that mild suction to seal and block noise). Couldn’t recommend more!

Great for hunting and shooting with muzzle brakes. You can get away with having whispered conversations but blocks out a gun shot well.

At ASWEFA, four of us (three instructors and myself) use the PACS Pro 27, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in our training on machines at work. We operate in high-noise industrial environments and across a wide range of sites delivering machinery training and licensing. The PACS Pro 27 allows us to maintain clear communication while still getting all the protection you’d expect from traditional hearing protection like earmuffs or generic earplugs, without the downsides. They look professional, are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods, and don’t get in the way when working around machinery. Unlike standard earplugs, they don’t fall out easily and don’t become uncomfortable over a full day on site.

Previously, relying on the disposable earplugs provided to visitors on site was frustrating and inconsistent. The PACS Pro 27 earbuds from Pacific Ears are a far better solution, reliable, comfortable, and purpose-built for real working environments. For anyone working in training, industry, or high-noise settings who needs protection without sacrificing communication or professionalism, we’d highly recommend them.

I use these plugs regularly, specifically for surfing. I’ve tried every brand of ear plugs on the market and these offer the best overall solution. Perfect fit means they mould to your ear canals, even if you have problems like surfers-ear. No leakage and they never fall out even in heavy surf conditions. The inbuilt cord provides reassurance of no loosing a plug if they did fall out. The attachment of the cord is recessed so it allows plugs to be worn under a hood/cap, which is a differentiator vs competitor products. They still block out a lot of sound, but better than many alternatives, and the trade-off for protection of my sensitive/damaged ear drums is a no-brainer. Production and shipping was incredibly fast.

Recommendation; give option whether or not to have the clip on the cord. I found mine put too much weight on the cord, so had to file it off.
