After placing an order on our website, a member of our customer service team will reach out to you to provide information about a nearby fitting location. You can schedule an appointment at this fitting location to have your impressions taken. Once the impressions are sent to Pacific Ears, we will create your product and ship it back to you. Our standard processing time is approximately 5-7 business days from the receipt of impressions.

Certainly, you have the option to purchase additional filters from our online store within the category of accessories. These filters are available for individual sale, so if you require a pair, kindly order two. Available options include ER Filters, Pro series filters, Pro Impact filters and solid inserts.

Certainly, this option is available at no cost during the initial month after buying, provided that the filters remain in brand-new condition. The PACS Pro models 10, 15, 17, 20, 26 and the Pro Impact are compatible with each other. The PACS Pro31 and Pro27 can also be swapped. However, it is not feasible to switch the PACS Pro27 or the Pro31 to a filter with lower attenuation than Pro27 due to differences in their mold shapes. If you have purchased any of the ER series, you can also swap filters within that series. The ER9, ER15, and ER25 filters are interchangeable. For more information, please get in touch with us.

After we receive your ear impressions, our typical production time is about 5-7 working days. Please note that this is not a promise for delivery within a specific timeframe, as our custom hearing protection products are individually shaped and manufactured. This may result in some delays in creating the perfect pair for you, although often it will be quicker. The production time can also be influenced by the volume of orders we are currently processing.

The SwimFit earplugs we offer are crafted from a buoyant blue or red material, making them easily retrievable should they accidentally fall into the water during insertion or removal. These earplugs provide a secure fit while swimming or surfing, ensuring minimal risk of loss during physical activity. To purchase these SwimFit earplugs, please click here.

Custom SleepSound earplugs can greatly diminish noises such as snoring and traffic, but they cannot completely eliminate all sounds. This is because sound can still travel through the bone structure of your head. You will still be able to hear the smoke alarm and your alarm clock going off. Our sleep plugs are designed to be compact and comfortable for wearing. The sound seal is created in the ear canal. Our SleepSound earplugs can be purchased here.

Our SleepSound earplugs are specifically designed for use during sleep. They are ergonomically shaped to ensure comfortable usage on a nightly basis. Please be aware that sleeping on the side may affect the level of comfort experienced. We advise against using our other earplugs for sleeping, as they may exert pressure on the ear due to being designed for a different purpose.

Our solid ear plugs provide the highest level of noise reduction. A set of earplugs designed for sleep can reduce up to 27-30 dB. The PACS Pro31 and PACS Pro27 filters are the most effective in reducing industrial noise, both classified as level 5 attenuators. It should be noted that it is impossible to completely eliminate all sound, even with custom hearing protection products, as sound can also travel through the bone structure of the head.

Our PACS Pro27 and Pro31 have been tested to meet AS/NZS 1270 standards and are classified as class 5 hearing protectors, which is the highest rating available. To buy a pair of class 5 ear plugs, please order online . If you need help selecting the appropriate hearing protection product for your needs, feel free to get in touch with us.
We also offer bulk discounts for businesses or organisations looking to purchase hearing protection for their employees. Contact us for more information on our bulk pricing options. Remember, protecting your hearing is crucial, so make sure you have the right equipment for the job.

Absolutely, these personalised In-ear monitors are ideal for music listening. The precision and fidelity that they provide will surely leave you in awe. The experience of listening to music with In-ears is distinctly different from using speakers. Our In-ears are also a great choice for performers on stage.

We can reword that question to ask: Are custom In-ear Monitors superior to standard earbuds?
Absolutely. Custom In-ear Monitors are tailored to fit perfectly, enhancing your listening pleasure. This feature also means you won’t need to crank up the volume as high, ultimately protecting your ears.

Our in-ear headphones provide passive noise cancellation, or more accurately, noise isolation. They function similar to solid ear molds when unplugged and can reduce sound by around 30 dB.

Although your custom hearing protection product (earplugs or In-ear monitors) has the potential to last indefinitely, we suggest getting new ear impressions every 3 to 4 years as the contours of your ear canals may alter with time. This will ensure that your custom hearing protection product continues to provide the best fit and protection for your ears. Additionally, regular cleaning and maintenance of your custom earplugs or in-ear monitors will help extend their lifespan and performance. If you notice any discomfort, changes in fit, or decreased effectiveness, it may be time to get new ear impressions and have your custom hearing protection product replaced.
